Job Details
Oberg Freight is looking for a interested candidate in the diesel mechanic field. Pay is based on level of experience. Oberg Freight offers Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance, 401K, 2 weeks vacation after your 1st year, and 3 weeks vacation after 3 years. We offer top pay, up to $25.00 per hour depending on experience, and an excellent benefits package.
Oberg Freight is a well-respected Midwest Carrier based in Fort Dodge, Iowa since 1984. Oberg is a family run/owned business with Kent Oberg, the original owner, still overseeing the daily activities. Dan, Kent's son, is Oberg Freight's President, while Pat, Kent's other son, oversees our shop and maintenance.
Currently over 90% of Oberg Freight's management staff has served in the Armed Forces and a few have done tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Requirements
Candidate must have a fair amount of training and knowledge on diesel engines, transmissions, electronics, etc. Will train the proper candidate if you only have limited experience. Potential tool program available if needed for proper candidate.
